Geological, Soil and Sediment Studies in Chelsaton Sedimentary Basin, Kabul, Afghanistan

چکیده

The geology, sediment and soil studies are important due to its significant impacts on agriculture, mining, constructions materials, industries, environment, ground water percolation, air pollution, surface pollutions, earthquakes geo-hazards in Afghanistan. In this research, we studied petrography, Sediment, tectonic structures, fraction selection by using hydrometer, sieving analysis, geological mapping. Results show different kinds of metamorphic rocks low grade medium metamorphisms, Garnete mica Schist, Quarsite, types minerals among rocks. Further, type consisting residual angular (Autochthonous) rounded (Allochthonous) transported water, sediments Garnete, Gneiss, Biotite sizes boulders, Cobble, Granule, Sand, Silt. Hydrometer analysis shows clayey loam, sandy silty loam. Moreover, Geological mapping complex structures like joints, cracks, faults, folds, anticline syncline. obtained results suggest that the researches can be used efficiently for catchments Kabul Basin other basins

A prevalence survey in Kabul City showed that 2.7% and 21.9% of persons have active leishmaniasis lesions or scars, respectively. Incidence of disease was estimated to be 2.9% (29 cases/1,000 persons per year; 95% confidence interval 0.018 to 0.031). Disease was associated with age and gender; logistic regression analyses showed significant clustering of cases.
